Finding Specific Words
netXtract allows you to find specific words within any HTML page you access through IE
by indexing all the words in the page (document). The resulting list of words is displayed
in the Index tab. Remember that words from the the Ignore dictionary are not shown!
To find the word of interest:
- In the Index tab, just click on any word in the list and start typing the word you are looking for, and the
selection will change to match your typing. If the word you are looking for is in the document (and is not in
your Ignore dictionary), you will find it in the Index list. The occurrence count of the word in the document
is displayed next to it.
Remember that you can always "filter" the index of the current document through a dictionary.
Also, you may add words to any dictionary directly from the Index tab.
